Another late night, and we have an early start tomorrow, so another photo dump.
We had a day of crazy taxis today. On the way out to the historic town of Qibao our taxi driver overtook a police car on the highway. That might not sound too odd, but the police had their lights on and were obviously heading somewhere in a hurry. On top of that, the cops were slightly near the center line, so our driver blasted his horn at them to gtf out of his way! Only in China. Later in the day, a taxi we were in ran a red light and actually cut off a cop car, who had to brake hard to miss us. On both occasions the cops didn’t blink, which shows just how interested they are in chasing down traffic offences.
Here’s hoping the pilots are a little more controlled than the taxi drivers.
